Hobo’s Bar and Restaurant

I grew up in a household that considered mealtime a place where we could work out the day’s frustrations. Peas often were flying across the table, a lovely piece of buttered bread would disappear from the plate and all distasteful food ended up wrapped in a napkin and hidden away in a drawer.
Later in life I grew to love food and became a much better cook than my mother. Still a little wary of things that might be unusual, I attended a special dinner last week at Hobo’s Restaurant and Bar. I didn’t realize the food was vegan and I was ready to roll out my napkin.
It was a fabulous dinner, a gourmet dining event with wines that complimented the food perfectly (which is described as eco-global fusion).
More good reasons to go to Hobos besides delicious dining, you can bring your dogs when you sit on the patio and you will get to meet Gretchen the passionate chef behind all this.
